Vance Hall, was Director at that time.. Today she serves as the project's office manager and has served a total of 39 years at Juniper Gardens, Dr. Charles R. Greenwood is the current Director.

Alva was presented a certificate of recognition, signed by Richard Lariviere, Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor. A biographic sketch was also read and presented to Ms. Beasley by Kathleen McCluskey-Fawcett, Vice Provost. Alva's story will appear in next month's OREAD.
